What does the Relationships section of the Balance Wheel actually ask?

Framework: Balance Wheel · Chapter: Appendix 3: Balance Wheel

Three spokes. Partner, Family, and Friends. Five questions each. Kris Kluver's Balance Wheel, in The Dysfunctional Family Office, structures the Relationships quadrant around the people closest to you. The Partner section asks how satisfied you are with the relationship, whether you have clear shared goals, whether you communicate openly and consistently, whether you understand and support each other's dreams, and whether your partner supports yours. The Family section mirrors the structure. Satisfaction with the relationship, level of communication, level of support you provide, whether you actively listen, satisfaction with the time you invest. The Friends section covers quality of friendships, communication, frequency of engagement, frequency you and your partner engage with friends together, and the level of support you provide to friends. Most UHNW founders score high on Partner depending on the years and lower on Family and Friends.
